HRP manufactures several roofing systems. Our range of roof tiles is of superb structural integrity and immaculate appearance. Our world class factory, based in Brakpan, South Africa, is one of the largest of its kind in the world and maintains high quality standards certified to universally recognized criteria, including but not restricted to SABS 1022, BOBS, ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 certification.

Strong in Design

Each steel based tile is designed and manufactured for strength. The unique overlapping system and fixing technique provide not only a leakproof roof, but also a form of burglar proofing. All tiles are available in galvanized mild steel substrate or alternatively in Alu-Zinc coated mild steel for added longterm corrosion resistance.

Durable

Through on-going research, the acrylic coating which was developed in 1970, can now withstand high ultra-violet levels and most adverse weather conditions. The small stone granules bonded to the tile surface result in a truly durable finish which is unaffected by extensive weathering such as gale force winds, pelting rain and hailstorms.

Maintenance Free

The tiled roof is maintenance free, which means you don’t have the inconvenience of fixing leaks or replacing broken tiles.

Strong on Savings

A one-ton roof could weigh up to eight tons more in concrete ordinary tiles. This excellent weight-to-strength ratio means that, with our tiles, you invest your money in tiles and not unnecessary structure.

Weatherproof

The durable, steel-based tile can withstand the impact of all the elements including the severest of hailstorms. Contact us for guidelines in atmospheric corrosive / coastal area applications.
The Alu-Zinc tile option is the combination of structural protection of aluminium, and this allows for superior performance to galvanized coatings in some environments. Alu-Zinc properties also provide a cooler roof material, as it is less heat absorbent.

Warranty

Harveytiles carry a 30 year manufacturer ’s warranty.
